Schofield Barracks Real Estate is a Military Housing property with Oahu as military base, named after Lieutenant General John McAllister Schofield, a Commanding General who was sent to Oahu in 1872 and recommended the establishment of a naval base at Pearl Harbor. To date Schofield continues to be the largest Army post in Hawaii and is located Centrally at the foot of the Waianae mountain range occupying an area of 17,725 acres. Schofield was established in 1908 as home to the 25th Infantry Division (Tropic Lightning Division) and Command Headquarters for the United States Army.
